1. Before you start

Use Registry Search to retrieve company data and include it in a Company screening report.

You need the company name, its jurisdiction and access to run screenings. A quick Company screening saves a screening record; it does not create a maintained Entity or set monitoring.

Registry data varies by source. This example uses a non-premium Hong Kong source. Available premium registries follow the same search, selection and confirmation flow; confirmation may use a registry credit as shown by Kyboa.

The worked example shows the output captured for this guide. Results and source coverage can change.

Nevada Spirit Company Limited · Hong Kong (HK)

3. Select and confirm the company

  1. Find the matching company in the results. Check its name and registration number, 74012178 in this example.
  2. Choose Select and review the confirmation.
  3. Choose Create Screening once. Kyboa retrieves the selected registry record and starts the screening.

4. Follow progress and check completion

Kyboa opens the saved record. Check Screening Status and Pipeline Progress while the checks run. When processing finishes, check the final status, risk rating and confidence level before opening the report.

5. Read the Company report

  1. Choose View Report and start with the Executive Summary.
  2. Review the Company Registry Data section, including identifiers and source limitations.
  3. Read the watchlist candidates, adverse media, background information, assessment and recommended next steps.
  4. Check supporting sources and appendices. A name-similarity match does not establish the company identity.

8. Common questions

If processing is waiting, keep the same saved record and check its retry information. Do not submit again just because the report is taking time.

If the screening fails or finishes with unavailable sources, read the error or limitations on the record. Contact support with the screening reference if needed. A report with missing checks requires review of those limitations.

If a registry search returns no match or the source is unavailable, check the name and selected source. You can use Screening Only when registry data is unavailable; this changes the scope of the screening.

9. Check completion

  • The company name and jurisdiction are correct.
  • You have checked the final status and source limitations.
  • You have read the report and assessed relevant candidates and sources.
  • You have saved the PDF if required and can reopen the record.
